He was the first surgeon who recognized the importance of Robotics in Joint Replacement Surgery in the Mid South. He was instrumental in bringing Mako Robot to St Francis Hospital in 2011. Since then he has done over 1700 joint replacements using the Mako Robot. He is the most experienced Joint Replacement Surgeon in Midsouth area.
Dr. Dalal also uses other techniques that involve the use of patient-specific implants such as the Conformis knee replacement and the use of the Visionaire guide.
He also has full staff privileges at all Methodist Hospitals, St Francis Hospitals, and Baptist Surgery Centers. He has an active medical license in Tennessee and Mississippi.
Dr. Dalal has lived in East Memphis, TN, for the last 19 years and has been married for over 30 years. His wife is also a physician and works alongside him. They have one son together who attends college at this time.
